Welcome to the 2nd edition of our newsletter! Let’s begin!
We Unify
The community within We Unify has a desire to be of service to reclaim democracy and we invite you to join us on this important mission. Since 2021, our organization has enlisted thousands of citizens to support unity in an effort to contribute to a better future. We can always work a little harder to heal division within our hearts so we are closer as a community and a nation. We thank you for working with us to bring Canada together with hope and optimism for a better future.
The consequences of societal labels on the word freedom have impeded unity, however, our movement here in Canada and around the world continues to find a way forward knowing history is on our side. Consistent resistance and resilience always prevails. Now is our shared opportunity to shape a political renaissance and we welcome you to take part in this new story together.
A house divided against itself cannot stand. Every kingdom divided against itself will end. These words recognize unity is self-evident and essential for civilization to flourish. The very future of civilization depends on it.
Reclaiming Conference
We hold these truths to be self-evident — we are stronger together and our unalienable rights as citizens are ours to defend. It is within our power to reclaim democracy from those who would have us believe we are powerless. We must reform or replace systems of governance that fail to recognize unalienable self-evident rights and this work will never be complete. Democracy is not an event. It is a process, and we must take care to guide its implementation with shared responsibility and clear purpose.
If we have lost our way as a nation, we have to rediscover who we really are. We present a way forward in 2024 with a solutions conference to assemble bright minds to address issues surrounding censorship and disinformation. Since 2022, our conference helped launch the National Citizen Inquiry, inspire a National Freedom Wire for independent journalists and many other solutions to Reclaim Canada! Thank you for your ongoing support!
See below for our full interview with one of our many conference speakers, Dr. Drew Pinsky, who will be joining our Health and Science panel with Dr. Peter McCullough and Dr. Jay Bhattacharya.
Thinking about the early ticket access deadline? We received feedback from conference attendees that they are hoping to see which speakers will be assigned on which days. As a volunteer-led effort, we are doing our very best to get you this information! To support guests, we have extended our early access deadline from May 1 to May 15 so there is additional time!
Important news
What it’s like to tour with Jordan Peterson
We're possibly heading towards the greatest population decline in human history
For the first time in over 100 years, the House of Commons has reprimanded a private citizen over the ArriveCan app
“In a report last February, auditor general Karen Hogan determined the cost of ArriveCan ballooned to at least $59 million but said a glaring disregard for basic management practices made it impossible to determine the exact price tag. Hogan called it the worst example of financial record keeping she had ever seen and found little explanation why GC Strategies – which subcontracted the work to other companies – was hired in the first place. The RCMP is examining her findings”
2023 interview asks if B.C. Conservatives represent the fringe or a political awakening
Jump to 2024 — “According to Mainstreet Research, John Rustad’s BC Conservatives now have 38.9% support, followed by Premier David Eby’s NDP at 36.2%. The provincial election is set for October 19, 2024”
Stop using biometrics to unlock your phone
“Last week, the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals in California released a ruling that concluded state highway police were acting lawfully when they forcibly unlocked a suspect’s phone using their fingerprint. You probably didn’t hear about it. The case didn’t get a lot of coverage, especially because the courts weren’t giving a blanket green light for every cop to shove your thumb to your screen during an arrest. But it’s another toll of the warning bell that reminds you to not trust biometrics to keep your phone’s sensitive info private.”
$34.5 trillion debt could ultimately render U.S. central banks powerless and irrelevant
"At some point, the debt problem is going to be so large, it will cause the Fed to become almost irrelevant because they can't raise rates anymore. Every day that interest rates stay elevated raises the U.S. government’s borrowing cost. Rising interest rates drove Uncle Sam’s interest payments to over 35% as a percentage of total tax receipts in fiscal 2023. In other words, the government is already paying more than a third of the taxes it collects on interest expenses, and those interest payments are rising every month. The federal government spent $288.01 billion in interest expense to finance the national debt in the first quarter of fiscal 2024. That was more than national defence ($238 billion) and more than Medicare ($168 billion). The only higher spending category was Social Security at $351 billion”
China subsidizing fentanyl crisis in the U.S.
“China fueling fentanyl crisis in the U.S. by directly subsidizing the manufacturing of materials that are used by traffickers to make the drug outside the country, according to a report released by a special House committee focused on countering the Chinese government. Through its actions, the Chinese Communist Party is telling us that it wants more fentanyl entering our country. It wants the chaos and devastation that has resulted from the epidemic.”
Amnesty says world seeing near breakdown of international law amid wars in Gaza and Ukraine
"Amnesty International has said the most powerful governments, including the US, Russia and China, have led a global disregard for international rules and values enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, with civilians in conflicts paying the highest price. Amnesty's secretary general said the level of violation of international order witnessed in the past year is unprecedented"
