Join us for a thought-provoking evening with James Lindsay, Amy Hamm and Michelle Riddle! These are all individuals who have contributed to important discussions around freedom of speech, gender rights, and censorship, and they’ll be sharing their insights on May 6, 2025 at 108 Niagara Street in Victoria, BC with doors opening at 6:30pm. This event is by donation and there is also an option for virtual admission which means people from across Canada (and beyond) can participate.
James Lindsay
Is the West in decline? Dr. James Lindsay is the author of books like Cynical Theories and The Marxification of Education. He joins We Unify in person to discuss his experiences in uncovering the hypocrisy of academic journals and the critical theory, cultural and academic marxism and other hidden agendas. We will be exploring how these trends are impacting academia in the West and beyond.
Amy Hamm
Ms. Hamm is a Vancouver-based National Post columnist, as well as a nurse who was fired for her gender critical views. She has been involved in multi-year legal battles to keep her nursing license and uphold the free speech of all Canadians. In September 2020, she also co-sponsored a billboard that read I Love JK Rowling referring to the British author’s public defence of women’s rights.
Michelle Riddle
Ms. Riddle is an internationally acclaimed speaker trained in Occupational Therapy, Holistic Nutrition and Functional Capacity Evaluation. She worked as a Faculty Member with Vancouver Island University and as an Advisor at the University of Alberta. She is the Director of Resilient Health, and Founder of Global Alliance for Our Children's Future with over 30 years of community based pediatric experience with family system dynamics and development.

Canada on a collision course with Danielle Smith
“Smith says the last 10 years have soured Albertans on the idea of a Liberal government, and the next Prime Minister will have to navigate that. The Premier met with Carney before the campaign started and said she gave him a list of demands that must be addressed within the first six months to avoid an unprecedented national unity crisis”

Story from Canadian detained by Ice for two weeks
“It was surreal listening to my friends recount everything they had done to get me out: working with lawyers, reaching out to the media, making endless calls to detention centers, desperately trying to get through to Ice or anyone who could help. From the moment I arrived, I begged every officer I saw to let me pay for my own ticket home. To put things into perspective: I had a Canadian passport, lawyers, resources, media attention, friends, family and even politicians advocating for me. Yet, I was still detained for nearly two weeks. Imagine what this system is like for every other person in there”
