Christian teacher who refused to use trans pupil’s preferred pronouns jailed for third time
“Enoch Burke, a teacher who has repeatedly defied court orders to stay away from Wilson’s Hospital School in Co Westmeath, has been jailed for a third time in Ireland for contempt. Burke's incarceration follows his refusal to use a transgender student’s preferred pronouns and his persistent visits to the school, which have been described as disruptive to both staff and students. According to The Telegraph, the evangelical Christian has already spent over 400 days in jail across two previous stints, accumulating fines of around £74,000 for breaching court injunctions”

“China will train thousands of foreign law enforcement officers so as to see the world order develop in a more fair, reasonable and efficient direction, its minister for public security has said. We will also send police consultants to countries in need to conduct training to help them quickly and effectively improve their law enforcement capabilities, minister Wang Xiaohong told an annual global security forum.”
